What is the job about
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enhance data interpretation, decision-making processes, and business performance. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. You will also be responsible for creating and managing BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. For this role, you will need a solid background in data and business analysis, be analytical and an excellent communicator.
General Requirements:
- at least 4 years of experience in Power BI SQL required
- SQL & Linux experience

- Fluency in Romanian and English
Key accountabilities: Software development activities for applications used for reports and dashboards creation.
Deliverables:
- New and updated dashboards and reports created by software development in Microsoft PowerBI, Office Suite, etc.
- Create and update documentation and add information about the design and content of dashboards via internal Confluence pages or Sharepoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain PowerBI solutions.
- Craft and execute queries upon request for data.
- Translate business needs to technical specifications.
- Develop and update technical documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Managing the new reporting and dashboards demands and customers.
- Designing the overall reporting infrastructure and its evolution (back-end and web components).
- Providing ad-hoc analysis, initiating and managing Service Improvement projects.
Skills & Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
- Basic Unix /Linux OS and Network knowledge
- Oracle DBA Administrator skills or other relational database skills
- Good statistical and visual representation skills
- Knowledge of database management systems, OLAP and ETL framework
- Knowledge of SQL queries, in Oracle, SQL Server or another relational database
Nice to have
- Power BI certification is a plus.
- MS Excel, Power Point and/or VBA for all chart, analysis and automation functions are also nice to have.
